The shock eyelet is designed to move very little during the actuation of the shock. This is designed to keep DU bushing wear down to a minimum as well as provide better suspension actuation and sensitivity.

Instead of having adjustability in the shock mounting, Keith has move that adjustment to the rear dropouts. In addition to giving geometry adjustability through this feature, they also can now accommodate various wheel sizes (150mm, 142mm, 135mm, etc).
